Conversations & Confessions

This 110 minute production was a crossover between an open mic night and a religious confessional. The series of solos and small group works explored concepts of personal importance to our company members including Grief, Memory, Faith, Insomnia, and Boredom.

Each of the three shows opened with a 15-30 minute set by a singer/song-writer. Between each dance, members of the cast would provide context for the next work, tell jokes, improvise, or connect with the audience to help tear down the fourth wall to create a more intimate audience-performer experience.

"Loving ourselves trough the process of owning our story is the bravest thing we will ever do."

-Brené Brown
